A high intensity focused ultrasound facial, or HIFU facial for short, is a noninvasive treatment for facial aging. This procedure is part of a growing trend for anti-aging treatments that provide some of the benefits of a facelift without the need for surgery.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
NATURAL, NON-INVASIVE, NO DOWNTIME
HIFU therapy is ideal for both men and women who desire a natural degree of firmness and minimisation of wrinkles and lines.
HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is the only FDA approved non-invasive treatment for lifting loose skin on the face, neck, chin and brow; and now it’s also the only non-invasive treatment specifically FDA-cleared to improve lines and wrinkles on the décolletage.
HIFU uses focused ultrasound to stimulate collagen production deep within the skin (close to mussels-SMAS, in derma). A new, naturally occurring collagen continues to form for 2-3 months after treatment.
HIFU machine uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen deep within the skin and tighten the skin naturally - without surgery or downtime.
A beauty of the procedure is that it forms new, naturally occurring collagen, which continues to form for two to three months after the treatment. Initial effects may be seen immediately after the treatment, however the effect will build gradually as new collagen begins to lift and tighten the skin on the neck, chin and brow, as well as smoothing the skin on the chest.
The result is the tighter, firmer and lifted skin, from the brow to the chest.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Each session typically lasts 30-90 minutes. Some people report mild discomfort during the treatment, and some have mild pain afterward. Over-the-counter pain relievers, such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil), may also help. Unlike other cosmetic procedures, HIFU facials do not require any preparation. When a session is over, there is also no recovery time, which means that people can get on with their daily activities after receiving HIFU treatment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
This service is not suitable for all clients - including those with:
Open wounds or lesions in the treatment area
Severe or cystic acne in the treatment area
Active implants (e.g., pacemakers or defibrillators), or metallic implants in the treatment area
Treatment is not recommended directly over those areas with any of the following: Mechanical implants, Dermal fillers, Breast implant
Treatment energy is not recommended for use directly on an existing keloid.
Forbidden for Pregnant women, Children, Those with the following disease states: A hemorrhagic disorder or hemostatic dysfunction or an active systemic or local skin disease that may alter wound healing.
