Hydration is essential to your final results. When we think hydration we think water intake right? Yes, that's important but other habits are a factor as well (alcohol consumption, eating salty foods & physical activity). Limit these dehydrating habits 72 hours prior and after.
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! 💦🍉
Exfoliating and moisturizing your lips well before your appointment helps too, as the product can more easily penetrate the skin. After appointment, keep lips hydrated inside and out. Aquaphor is great.
AFTERCARE
HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE!
Keep lips well moisturized on the outside as well.
No regular lip gloss, lipstick or chapstick for 24 hours as you have open wounds on
lip making them prone to infections (bacteria is present in used make-up).
Don't massage. If at two weeks bumps are visible, you can add firm pressure and lightly massage.
They should disappear in a couple days.
